As a trusted HR Business Partner, you will work closely with executive and operational leaders to deliver workforce strategies aligned to organisational objectives. This role aids in driving transformation, embedding cultural change, and enabling business performance through strategic HR practices.

About the Role

  • Build strong partnerships with senior leaders to deliver tailored HR strategies that elevate employee experience and organisational capability
  • Provide expert guidance on complex ER/IR matters including investigations, disputes, return to work cases and performance management
  • Support and influence enterprise agreement negotiations that align with operational priorities
  • Deliver pragmatic, risk-aware HR advice across the employee lifecycle including recruitment, compliance and workforce planning
  • Leverage people data and insights to identify trends, shape workforce initiatives and inform decision-making
  • Drive enterprise-wide change initiatives and lead HR projects from ideation through execution
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues to ensure strategic consistency and legislative compliance

About You

You are a commercially savvy and solutions-focused HR professional, with a proven ability to operate in complex, fast-paced environments.

  • Degree qualified in HR, Business or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience in a HR Business Partner or Senior Advisor role, preferably within a large, complex or blue-collar environment
  • Deep understanding of Australian employment law, industrial instruments and best practice ER/IR strategy
  • Track record of managing sensitive people matters with discretion, resilience and strong stakeholder engagement
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to flex style across all organisational levels
  • Demonstrated capability to balance risk, compliance and commercial outcomes in strategic HR delivery
  • Proactive and adaptable, with a continuous improvement mindset and strong organisational awareness
