About the Role

  • Partner with senior operational leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that support business goals and enhance employee engagement.
  • Provide advice and support to enable effective case management of workplace conflict and disputes and other complex matter including RTW matters
  • Support effective Enterprise Agreement negotiations to deliver business outcomes
  • Provide balanced and pragmatic advice across all areas of HR, including employee relations, performance, recruitment, compliance, and workforce planning.
  • Utilise data, including HR metrics, to identify trends and recommend actionable solutions to improve organisational effectiveness.
  • Lead change initiatives, lifecycle projects, and people projects
  • Collaborate with HR team and HRBP peers to ensure consistency and compliance
  • About You
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or related discipline
  • Proven HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor experience, ideally in a large, national business with a large blue-collar workforce
  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment law, awards, EAs, and IR practices and demonstrated application to the workplace
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple competing priorities and navigate the organisation effectively to deliver outcomes
  • Demonstrated experience effectively managing ER/IR matters including investigations and case management
  • Excellent judgement in balancing organisation and workforce risk and needs in advice and solutions proposed
  • Communication and coaching style that adjusts to the stakeholders involved in both written and verbal communication
  • Learning mindset to stay current with changes in legislation and trends
  • Resilient, adaptable, and confident with a proactive and pragmatic mindset
