About the Company
A great opportunity has come up for an experienced and practical HSE Specialist
to join a well-established industrial business in Darra on a short-term contract. With their permanent process underway, they’re seeking someone who can step in quickly, keep momentum going, and provide steady WHS leadership across their workshop and operations.
You’ll be the go-to for day-to-day safety support - walking the floor, supporting supervisors, reviewing hazards and documentation, and providing clear, proactive guidance to keep people safe and the business moving.
About the Role
In this hands-on position, you will:
- Conduct daily safety checks, inspections and risk assessments
- Support incident reviews, corrective actions and reporting
- Review SWMS, procedures and general WHS documentation
- Build strong relationships with frontline teams and leaders
- Collate WHS data and provide insights to leadership
- Help maintain compliance and keep WHS processes on track
Some interstate travel is required for the permanent role, though not expected during this short-term contract.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in WHS within industrial, manufacturing, electrical or mechanical environments
- Confident engaging with frontline teams, trades and supervisors
- Practical, approachable and able to build trust quickly
- Comfortable working both independently and in a busy workshop setting
- Able to hit the ground running with minimal handover
- Available immediately (or with a short notice period)
