About the role
Reporting to the Country Head of People & Culture ANZ, this 3-month contract (with genuine potential to convert to permanent) is a pivotal role overseeing the day-to-day delivery of HR operations across the employee lifecycle.
You’ll lead a small, capable team of HR Coordinators and take ownership of payroll governance, HR systems, and process improvement during a period of transition.
Key deliverables include:
- Overseeing outsourced payroll to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Supporting system integrations including time & attendance and onboarding/offboarding systems
- Leading cyclical HR activities and workforce planning support
- Coaching and developing two HR Coordinators across wholesale and retail
- Ensuring operational continuity and a positive employee experience
About You
You’re a hands-on HR professional who thrives in operational environments and enjoys bringing structure, clarity, and calm to complex systems.
You’ll bring:
- Proven experience leading HR operations, payroll, and compliance
- Strong knowledge of Australian and NZ employment legislation
- Confidence working with HRIS and payroll integrations
- Experience mentoring small teams and driving continuous improvement
- A pragmatic, collaborative and solutions-focused approach
- Experience within manufacturing, healthcare or retail environments will be highly regarded.
The Benefits
- $140,000 – $150,000 + super (up to $175K package DOE)
