HR Coordinator | $80–90K + super | Hybrid working

Human Resources & Recruitment

Davidson is partnering with a purpose-led organisation operating across both commercial and not-for-profit entities to recruit an HR Coordinator to support the continued growth of its people function.

This is a hands-on HR coordination role, ideal for someone early in their HR career who has experience working in a start-up, scale-up or small business environment and enjoys being on the tools in a fast-moving, evolving organisation.

About the Organisation
This organisation delivers services with a strong social purpose, supporting government, corporate and community clients. It has grown rapidly in recent years and continues to scale nationally, while maintaining a genuine small-business feel, accessible leadership and a strong emphasis on doing the right thing.

About the Role
Reporting to the HR & Culture Manager, the HR Coordinator will provide practical, end-to-end HR coordination and support across multiple entities and workforce groups.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating recruitment and onboarding processes in a growing business
  • Maintaining accurate employee records and HRIS data (Employment Hero)
  • Supporting HR compliance, policies and documentation
  • Assisting with performance processes, including the rollout of job scorecards
  • Acting as a first point of contact for HR queries from employees and managers
  • Supporting continuous improvement of HR processes in an evolving environment

This role will suit someone who is comfortable with changing priorities, follows things through, and enjoys contributing to the development of practical HR processes rather than operating within rigid frameworks.

About You
You will bring:

  • 2+ years’ experience in an HR Coordinator or HR Administrator role
  • Experience working in a start-up, scale-up or small business environment
  • Strong HR administration and organisational skills
  • Exposure to HR systems (Employment Hero highly regarded)
  • A working knowledge of Fair Work and NES
  • A hands-on, solutions-focused mindset

Experience supporting multi-entity organisations will be highly regarded.

What's on offer

  • Salary of $80,000–$90,000 + super
  • Canberra (Fyshwick) or Brisbane (Brendale) locations- both with free parking on site
  • Hybrid working arrangement (3 days office / 2 days WFH)
  • Close support and mentoring from an experienced HR leader
  • Broad exposure across the full HR lifecycle
  • The opportunity to help shape HR processes as the organisation continues to scale
