About the Role
I am thrilled to be supporting our HR team to HR recruit for our new HR Business Partner (People Partner), you will be a trusted adviser supporting leaders and employees across the full employee lifecycle. You will uplift capability, coach through complex matters, embed values-led practices, and create an exceptional employee experience across Davidson nationally.
This is a role where you balance care with commerciality, where your advice matters, and where you have the autonomy to influence meaningful cultural and organisational outcomes.
What You’ll Do
- Provide pragmatic, values-aligned HR advice across ER/IR, performance, complex people matters, engagement, and change.
- Support the full lifecycle - recruitment, onboarding, development, flexible work, performance, grievances and exits.
- Coach and partner with leaders nationally to uplift capability, build strong teams, and champion high-quality people practice.
- Drive adoption of people initiatives aligned to Davidson’s culture and values.
- Coordinate cyclical HR activities including WGEA reporting, engagement surveys, benchmarking and WHS support.
- Lead or support people-focused projects improving employee experience, retention, wellbeing and operational excellence.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
Must-haves
- Tertiary qualification in HR, Business or related discipline.
- Background in agency consulting, with exposure to tech, corporate or engineering recruitment teams.
- Experience in a HR business partnering role within a national, fast-paced, service-driven organisation.
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation, Awards, NES and ER/IR frameworks.
- High emotional intelligence, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels.
- A coaching mindset with strong problem-solving, influencing and stakeholder capability.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in tech, digital, consulting or engineering aligned businesses.
- AHRI or relevant professional membership.
- HRIS literacy (Employment Hero desirable).
- WHS exposure or return-to-work coordination experience.
- Advanced MS Office skills and the ability to create simple, clear HR documentation.
