About the Role
Reporting to the HR Operations Manager, this 12-month contract will see you providing high-quality advice and support across the employee lifecycle. You’ll play a key role in contract administration, probation management, variations, and systems support (Workday), as well as partnering with managers on people matters.
Key responsibilities include:
- Drafting and managing employment contracts and variations
- Providing timely HR advice aligned with best practice and IR requirements
- Supporting payroll processes and maintaining accurate HRIS data
- Contributing to HR projects and policy development
- Mentoring and supporting the HR Coordinator and Administrator
About You
You’ll bring HR experience within a complex, service-driven environment and thrive on partnering with managers to deliver practical, people-focused outcomes. You’ll also demonstrate:
- Minimum 3 years’ HR experience, including contract administration
- Strong understanding of IR practices and processes (contracts, variations, probation management)
- Confidence in working with HRIS (Workday or similar)
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities with professionalism and cultural sensitivity
