The Opportuity:

Reporting to the Managing Director, the Head of Business Services plays a pivotal role in st rengthening organisational performance and operational capability across Yalari’s core business functions. This role leads People & Culture, ICT and data analytics, risk and WHS, governance and quality systems, property and facilities, and administration.

This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role suited to a commercially minded executive who brings both people leadership depth and enterprise operational oversight. The position will suit someone who has operated at MD, COO or Head of Corporate Services level, ideally within complex, values based or for purpose environments.

About You:

You are a seasoned operational leader with a foundation in HR Operations or People & Culture, complemented by strong commercial, governance, and transformation capability. You understand how to build scalable systems, uplift performance and embed a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. You thrive on balancing strategy with execution, driving efficiency while keeping people and purpose at the centre.


Key attributes:

  • Extensive HR Ops and people leadership experience , including culture, capability development, and workforce planning
  • Demonstrated success leading multi-disciplinary teams to deliver enterprise-wide outcomes
  • G overnance, risk, and quality management capability is desirable
  • Proven operational transformation and performance uplift expertise
  • Financial literacy and ability to align resources to organisational priorities
  • Commercial acumen, pragmatism, and the ability to anticipate and solve complex organisational challenges
  • Outstanding relationship-building skills across staff, volunteers, schools, communities, sponsors, and partners
