Urgent requirement for a GIS Officer to join our utilities client on the northside of Brisbane. The contract is available for an ASAP start and will run until 31 st
December 2025. All applicants must be able to work out of the North Lakes office 3 days per week.
The purpose of the role is to help keep critical infrastructure mapped and accurate. You will play a crucial part in cleaning the data and ensuring a high level of accuracy is observed. Join a Brisbane based team and use ArcGIS every day to turn asset data into decisions.
What you will do
- Maintain and update spatial datasets in ArcGIS for assets and networks.
- Capture and validate as constructed data using ADAC and the asset management system.
- Produce clear maps and plans for internal teams and projects.
- Run quality checks and occasional field verification to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Provide general GIS support across the organisation.
What you will bring
- A relevant qualification in GIS or a related field or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years’ experience in a GIS role.
- Proficiency with ESRI ArcGIS and a sharp eye for detail.
- Familiarity with ADAC and an asset management system (AMS).
