Reporting to the Managing Director, the General Manager Infrastructure & Planning will lead South Gippsland Water’s capital delivery, asset management, planning, and development support functions. In this role, you will shape the planning, delivery, and renewal of critical infrastructure, ensuring operational excellence and long-term sustainability. You will influence strategic plans, including the Urban Water Strategy and Price Submission, while building trusted relationships with the Board, government, regulators, and stakeholders. This is an opportunity to plan and deliver major infrastructure projects and leave a lasting impact on the future of South Gippsland Water’s services and communities. You will be a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, responsible for the strategic direction and performance of the organisation.

To be considered for this role, you will bring proven senior leadership experience in infrastructure and capital delivery in asset intensive environments. You will demonstrate experience managing large-scale projects and asset renewal programs, with strong capability in financial, risk, project, asset, and people management. Strategic and commercially astute, you balance long-term sustainability with operational performance and inspire high-performing teams to deliver results. Additionally, you will possess exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, enabling you to build partnerships that deliver commercial and reputational benefits for the organisation.
