Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the General Manager Business Operations will play a pivotal leadership role in shaping the organisation’s financial direction, driving long-term sustainability and performance. This is a hands-on executive leadership role focused on driving change in strategic budgeting, financial transparency and business planning discipline. Leading a broad portfolio spanning finance, budgeting, procurement and contract management, you will work across the organisation to ensure leaders have meaningful, decision-useful insight into cost, performance and priorities.
As a key member of the Executive team, the GM Business Operations will champion innovation, strengthen governance and embed high performing systems and processes, positioning the organisation to operate with clarity, confidence and impact in delivering outcomes for the community.
To be considered for this role, you are a commercially astute and forward-thinking leader with a proven track record of driving financial performance and organisational improvement in complex environments. You bring a strong strategic mindset, coupled with the ability to operate at both a big-picture and detailed level, and take a pragmatic, hands-on approach to delivering outcomes. With experience across industry or similarly scaled organisations, you are skilled at influencing both executive and operational stakeholders to achieve results. You demonstrate strong strategic budgeting capability, commercial acumen, and the ability to build confidence in financial decision-making across the organisation. A CA or CPA qualification is highly regarded.
