The Opportunity
This is a 12-month contract based in Carseldine, supporting and enhancing existing business-critical applications. You will take ownership of an established codebase, deliver new features at pace, and uplift quality, stability, and user experience across React/TypeScript front end and AWS-backed services.
About the Role
In this role, you will deliver end-to-end feature development and support for existing applications, working with internal technical stakeholders to analyse, design, build, test, and deploy changes safely and predictably.
- Take ownership of an existing codebase and drive new feature delivery
- Build and enhance complex React/TypeScript UIs (forms, tables, admin workflows)
- Integrate and optimise AWS Amplify DataStore, GraphQL APIs, and DynamoDB models
- Implement robust validation, error handling, and user feedback patterns
- Perform solution design, unit testing, quality reviews, and performance testing
- Provide documentation, progress reporting, and knowledge transfer to internal staff
About You
You are a hands-on Full Stack Developer who can work independently, make solid technical decisions, and keep delivery moving without constant oversight.
- Strong React (Hooks) and TypeScript experience across complex SPAs
- Confident designing, consuming, and debugging REST and GraphQL integrations
- Solid Git workflows, PR discipline, and collaborative engineering habits
- Strong debugging capability across UI and backend integration issues
- Experience with modern component libraries and styling (Tailwind, shadcn/ui, similar)
- Seeking mid-senior developers
