About the Company
A leading Australian bank is expanding its digital delivery team and seeking a Mid-level Frontend Developer to work on customer-facing platforms that serve millions. You'll be contributing to the transformation of core banking services into responsive, intuitive web experiences using React, Node.js, and GraphQL. About the Role
You'll work on digital banking products within a cross-functional squad, focusing on frontend delivery while integrating with robust backend services.
- Build scalable, accessible interfaces using React and TypeScript
- Collaborate with backend teams on GraphQL and RESTful APIs
- Support the delivery of secure, compliant digital features
- Participate in agile ceremonies, code reviews and continuous improvement
- Partner with Design, Product, and QA to deliver polished experiences
- Contribute to documentation and developer tooling uplift
About You
You’re an experienced frontend developer who thrives in fast-moving environments and understands the importance of security, accessibility, and user trust in banking.Solid experience with React (hooks, state management, testing)
- Strong grasp of frontend/backend integration with GraphQL and REST
- Exposure to Node.js and TypeScript in a large-scale environment
- Passion for clean, maintainable code and accessible UI design
- Familiar with secure coding practices and enterprise SDLC
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Full Australian working rights
