About the Company
Davidson is proud to be partnering with Iberdrola Australia on the VNI West Project – a flagship transmission development connecting Victoria and New South Wales and enabling Australia’s renewable energy future.

As one of the most significant energy infrastructure projects currently in development, VNI West requires structured, consistent and culturally informed engagement with Traditional Owners and First Nations stakeholders across the corridor.

We are now seeking a First Nations Engagement Coordinator to support this work.

About the Role
Reporting to the First Nations Engagement Lead, the Coordinator will support consultation activities, documentation, compliance tracking and stakeholder coordination across the project.

This role is well suited to someone who has previously worked within a major infrastructure or energy project team and understands the pace, structure and governance requirements of large capital programs.

What you’ll be doing

  • Coordinating meetings, site visits and consultation activities with Traditional Owners
  • Supporting cultural heritage survey planning and logistics
  • Maintaining engagement registers and compliance documentation
  • Tracking agreement milestones and reporting requirements
  • Supporting preparation of briefing materials and internal communications
  • Assisting with community information sessions and engagement events
  • Working closely with land access, environment and project teams
  • Ensuring accurate documentation aligned with project and regulatory frameworks

What you’ll bring

  • Experience supporting First Nations engagement on a large infrastructure or energy project
  • Exposure to transmission, renewable energy, utilities or other linear infrastructure environments
  • Understanding of Native Title and cultural heritage processes
  • Strong organisational and coordination capability
  • High attention to detail and structured working style
  • Genuine commitment to respectful and culturally informed engagement

Highly regarded experience includes:

  • Experience within a project delivery or PMO environment
  • Experience working across regional or corridor-based projects

This is a strong opportunity to be part of a nationally significant project while building experience within a high-calibre infrastructure delivery team.
