As the organisation continues to expand, an opportunity now exists for an experienced Financial Controller to join the business and play a key role in strengthening financial governance, supporting commercial decision-making, and contributing to strategic growth initiatives.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role will lead financial control, reporting, compliance, and governance activities across the group while partnering closely with operational stakeholders to deliver commercial insight and performance improvement. This is a hands-on role suited to a technically strong finance professional who enjoys operating in a fast-paced, evolving business environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes
  • Manage financial controls, compliance, governance, and audit activities
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting
  • Provide commercial insights across projects and business units
  • Support strategic growth initiatives including acquisitions and integration activities
  • Drive continuous improvement across systems, processes, and reporting frameworks
  • Mentor and support finance team capability

About You

You will be CA or CPA qualified with proven experience operating in a Financial Controller or senior finance leadership role within project-based, contracting, infrastructure, construction, or services environments.

You will bring:

  • Strong technical accounting and statutory reporting capability
  • Experience partnering with operational stakeholders
  • Commercial acumen and an ability to influence decision-making
  • Exposure to growth, transformation, or acquisition environments
  • Strong communication skills with a collaborative and hands-on leadership style
