Davidson is looking for a capable Financial Accountant to join our internal finance team on a contract basis. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can step in, take ownership, and support a busy finance function through a key period.
You’ll be working closely with senior stakeholders, gaining exposure across financial reporting, compliance, and process improvement within a professional services environment.
About the Role
- Prepare monthly financial reports, journals, and reconciliations
- Support month-end and year-end processes
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Maintain compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
- Identify and drive process improvements where needed
About You
- CA/CPA qualified or working towards
- Proven experience in a Financial Accountant role
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with systems
- High attention to detail with the ability to work autonomously
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
