About the Company
This is not your typical corporate environment.
You’ll be joining a global, fast-moving organisation with operations across 100+ countries, known for innovation and continuous growth. The ANZ business is well-established but still evolving, which means you’ll step into a team that is actively improving processes, systems, and the way finance partners with the business.
You will be part of a high-performing, collaborative finance team with strong leadership and genuine exposure to global stakeholders, giving you a platform to build a career, not just take a job.
About the Role
If you are looking for a role where you just post journals and tick boxes, this is not it.
This position is designed for someone who wants to step out of audit and actually learn how a business runs. You will get hands-on exposure across reporting, compliance, audit, tax, and process improvement, while working closely with both local leaders and a global shared services team.
You will be involved in:
-
Driving month-end close and reviewing management reporting
-
Owning balance sheet integrity and ensuring accounts are fully reconciled
-
Working across intercompany, payments, and fixed assets
-
Getting exposure to IFRS 16 lease accounting
-
Supporting tax obligations including GST, FBT, and WHT
-
Playing a key role in year-end reporting and external audit processes
-
Contributing to system improvements and finance transformation initiatives
This is a role where you will build real commercial understanding, not just technical knowledge, setting you up for your next move internally or beyond.
About You
You are ready to make your first move from audit, but you want the right move, not just any move.
You will likely come from a Big 4 or mid-tier firm and be CA or CPA qualified (or close to it), with a strong technical foundation and a desire to broaden your skillset.
You will also bring:
-
A proactive mindset and curiosity to learn how the business operates
-
Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
-
The ability to manage deadlines and take ownership of your work
-
Confidence to communicate with both local and global stakeholders
-
Advanced Excel skills
Exposure to shared services environments or IFRS 16 is a bonus, but not essential.
Benefits
-
A genuine first move that gives you broad, end-to-end exposure across finance
-
Work in a global business with international stakeholder exposure
-
Ongoing training and development with clear progression pathways
-
Hybrid working model offering flexibility and balance
-
A supportive team that invests in your growth
-
Competitive salary package
