About the Role
Reporting directly to an experienced Group Financial Controller, this role offers broad exposure across financial accounting, internal controls, operational performance, and stakeholder engagement.
It’s the ideal role for someone who enjoys structure and detail, but is also curious about how businesses actually operate day-to-day.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and analysing financial reports, balance sheets and budgets
- Managing reconciliations and ensuring accuracy across the general ledger
- Supporting internal audit activities and strengthening internal controls
- Gaining exposure to payroll, asset registers, and operational finance
- Partnering with operational leaders to support profitability and performance
- Identifying process improvements and helping implement smarter ways of working
You’ll also have the opportunity to step into leadership, supporting and guiding a small admin team. A great chance to build people-management skills early in your industry career.
About You
This role is perfectly suited to someone who:
- Is CA or CPA qualified (or close to completion)
- Has strong attention to detail, but wants broader commercial exposure
- Enjoys working autonomously while still being part of a supportive team
- Communicates confidently with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
Industry experience is not required — attitude, capability, and curiosity matter far more.
