About the Role
This Accountant role will support three key business units within Strategy and Partnerships including Legal, Policy, and Communications. You will manage day-to-day finance operations across an $18 million portfolio, working closely with Business Managers and the Executive Director.


This role reports to the Senior Accountant and includes responsibilities across financial reporting, compliance, budgeting, audit support and business partnering.

Key duties include:

  • Review and process transactions for accurate reporting
  • Prepare journals, reconciliations and statutory returns
  • Assist with periodic and end-of-year financial reporting and grant acquittals
  • Manage treasury activities including term deposit portfolios
  • Partner with business units to support budgeting and financial performance
  • Support junior finance staff and contribute to audit preparation

About You
You are a CPA or CA qualified accountant with at least three years of relevant experience, ideally within a complex or multi-entity environment. You bring strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, collaborative approach.

You will also demonstrate:

  • A clear understanding of Australian Accounting Standards and statutory obligations
  • Experience with audit preparation, grant reporting and compliance
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence working across departments
  • A genuine interest in working within a mission-driven organisation

Mandatory requirements:

  • Current Criminal History Check
  • Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check
