They are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Manager to join our team on an 8-month fixed term contract to cover long-term leave.
About the job
As the Finance Manager, you will report to the General Manager of Finance and play a crucial role in driving the company’s financial success. This position is essential for ensuring strong cash flow management, financial compliance, and strategic insight as the company experiences rapid growth. You will oversee critical functions such as share-based payments, month-end reconciliations, and compliance, while also spearheading process improvements that enhance operational efficiency.
- Oversee financial reporting for three entities within the company.
- Conduct and manage internal and external audits.
- Lead and mentor a team of three direct reports: Senior Accountant, Accounts Payable Officer, and Accounts Receivable Officer.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Provide strategic financial insights and support to senior management.
About you
- Proven experience in a similar finance management role in an ASX listed company.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and auditing practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- CPA or CA qualification preferred.
- Experience in the mining and energy sector is a plus.
