About the Company
Our client, Isuzu, is launching Isuzu Financial Services Australia (IFSA) — a new financial services entity that will support its national truck distribution network.
Part of a global organisation with more than 44,000 employees across 160+ countries, this project represents a rare opportunity to be involved in building a financial services capability from the ground up in Australia.
With a target go-live in October, the business is currently implementing key systems including Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Solifi leasing platform. This role sits within the core project team and reports to the Project Manager, playing a critical role in ensuring the finance and accounting environment is ready for launch.
About the Role
This is a hands-on contract role for a finance professional with asset finance or leasing experience who enjoys working in project environments.
You will act as the finance subject matter expert across the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and its integration with the Solifi leasing platform, ensuring the accounting and finance requirements of a leasing business are correctly reflected in the system build and thoroughly tested ahead of go-live.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as the finance SME across the D365 implementation, ensuring accounting outcomes and financial controls are correctly configured.
- Supporting the integration between Solifi and D365, validating financial data flows and accounting treatment.
- Providing hands-on input into finance processes relevant to leasing, asset finance and capital finance models.
- Leading and coordinating user acceptance testing including planning, test scripts, execution and defect resolution.
- Supporting data validation, reconciliations and end-to-end testing across finance processes.
- Working closely with the Project Manager, internal stakeholders and system vendors to deliver key project milestones.
About You
- You are a hands-on finance professional with strong accounting fundamentals and experience within leasing or asset finance environments.
- You are comfortable working within system implementation projects and can translate finance requirements into system outcomes while supporting testing and delivery.
Ideally you will bring:
- Strong Australian accounting knowledge.
- Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance or Finance & Operations).
- Experience in asset finance, leasing, fleet finance or similar financial services environments.
- Experience supporting finance systems implementations and user acceptance testing.
- Ability to operate as a hands-on finance SME within a project team.
- Experience with Solifi or similar leasing platforms would be advantageous but is not essential.
