My client is a well established and regarded automation and electrical supplier to the mining industry, continuing to grow and securing more on-going contracts with many of the country's most reputable mining operations.
About the Role
This role will be offered on a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off roster from Perth and will be responsible for the provision of overarching technical support (via field maintenance personnel) on site with regards to a wide range of machinery including draglines, shovels and autonomous drilling systems.
About You
To be considered for this role, it is envisaged you will possess:
- an electrical engineering or trade background (some exposure to remote troubleshooting and PLCs will be very well regarded)
- maintenance background and ability to quickly and correctly identify issues, and provide solutions
- experience on a mine site (and ideally FIFO experience, or willingness to do FIFO)
- well developed communication skills to enable effective and timely communication with the client
