Mat Leave Cover until mid-September
Davidson is partnering with a purpose-led organisation to recruit an experienced Executive Support Officer to provide high-level administrative and executive support across a senior leadership group. This is a maternity leave cover role through to mid-September, with genuine potential to extend or convert to a permanent position for the right person.
This role suits a confident, commercially aware administrator who knows how to manage up, anticipate needs, and adapt their style to support executives with differing personalities, priorities, and working styles.
About the Role
Working closely with multiple senior leaders, you’ll be the backbone that keeps their professional lives running smoothly. This is not a task-taking role. You’ll be trusted to use initiative, exercise sound judgement, and stay two steps ahead.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing end-to-end executive support to multiple executives and senior leaders
- Complex diary and inbox management, balancing competing priorities
- Anticipating executive needs and proactively preparing for meetings, travel, and commitments
- Coordinating meetings, agendas, papers, minutes, and follow-up actions
- Drafting correspondence and handling sensitive and confidential matters with discretion
- Acting as a key point of contact between executives and internal and external stakeholders
- Supporting board, committee, and leadership meetings including logistics and documentation
- General office and administrative support to ensure seamless day-to-day operations
About You
You’re a polished, proactive administrator who thrives in fast-paced environments and is comfortable supporting leaders with varied expectations and communication styles.
You’ll bring:
- Proven experience in executive or senior administration support roles
- Confidence managing multiple executives and shifting priorities
- Strong ability to manage up, push back when required, and protect executive time
- High level of initiative with a natural ability to predict needs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and discretion when handling sensitive information
- Advanced proficiency across Microsoft Office and confidence learning new systems
- A calm, professional approach and the resilience to operate under pressure
