Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the Executive General Manager, Performance, Risk & Strategy is a pivotal member of the Executive Leadership Team. This role is instrumental in driving the TAC’s performance, enabling agile and high-impact decision-making, and supporting the achievement of ambitious organisational goals.
You will lead a division that oversees Actuarial Services, Data Analytics, Strategic Value Realisation, Strategy, and Research. As Chief Risk Officer, you will also hold formal accountability to the Board’s Risk Committee, ensuring robust and effective enterprise risk management.
We are seeking a proven executive leader with deep expertise in business performance, strategy, enterprise risk, data science, or related disciplines—ideally within insurance or a similarly complex, regulated environment. A strong understanding of the public sector context is key. Your ability to generate strategic insights from complex data, lead high-performing teams, and deliver measurable value will position you as a trusted advisor to the CEO, Executive Leadership Team, Board and key stakeholders. You will be recognised for your people leadership, collaboration, strategic foresight, innovative thinking, and commitment to delivering outcomes with integrity, courage, accountability, and empathy.
Post-graduate qualifications are desirable, along with demonstrated experience in regulated environments. Your leadership will reflect thought leadership, systems thinking, and a deep commitment to public value.
