Executive General Manager Corporate Services – GRV

CEO & General Management

  • Lead Corporate Services in a complex, high-profile statutory authority
  • Drive innovation, efficiency, and a high-performance culture across diverse functions
  • Play a pivotal role as part of the Executive Leadership Team

Greyhound Racing Victoria (GRV) is the statutory authority responsible for regulating, conducting, and promoting the sport of greyhound racing and greyhound welfare across the state. Generating more than $840 million in economic activity, returning over $65 million in prize money, and directly involving more than 17,000 people, the industry has significant community and economic impact. Guided by a vision for Victorian greyhound racing to be vibrant, inclusive, and underpinned by world-leading animal welfare and integrity, GRV is entering an important phase of strategic and cultural evolution.

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the Executive General Manager Corporate Services will provide innovative, strategic leadership to GRV’s corporate functions, including People & Business Enablement, Finance & Procurement, Technology Services, Insights, and Risk. This is a broad and influential role that ensures corporate services act as an effective enabler of organisational performance, driving efficiencies, improving systems and processes, and strengthening GRV’s financial management, compliance, and governance. As a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, you will contribute to the organisation’s strategic direction, foster a high-performing culture, and support GRV in meeting its long-term objectives.

To be successful, you will be an agile, resilient and strategic leader with experience overseeing multi-disciplinary corporate services functions. Your track record will include managing large budgets and diverse teams, uplifting governance and risk practices, and implementing systems and processes that drive efficiency and impact. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to influence across an organisation and engage constructively with government, regulators, industry, and community partners. Experience in racing/wagering, sport, statutory authority or similarly complex environments will be highly regarded.

You will join an organisation that values integrity, innovation and collaboration, and be empowered to shape a high-performing, professional culture that supports GRV’s growth and transformation. The role offers the opportunity to act as a trusted adviser to the CEO, Board and Executive Leadership Team.
