About the role

The Executive Assistant will deliver high-level, confidential administrative and executive support, working closely with the CEO and the SLT. This includes managing communications, coordinating workflows, supporting business planning and championing process improvement initiatives.

The Corporate Services SLT includes the Chief Procurement Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Information Officer, Chief Transformation Officer, General Counsel, and the Principal Advisor. You will also collaborate across other departments to ensure efficiency and consistency.

This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in a busy environment, can manage competing priorities and takes pride in being a trusted, proactive partner to senior leaders.




Key responsibilities

  • Provide executive-level support, including calendar and inbox management, document coordination, and communication handling
  • Support strategic planning and reporting processes by preparing high-quality documentation and contributing to planning activities
  • Champion the Integrated Management System (IMS) for Corporate Services, assisting with document formatting, review processes, and system input
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the Corporate Services function
  • Assist with procurement processes, including raising purchase orders, invoice management, and vendor coordination
  • Coordinate travel and accommodation requirements for senior staff
  • Plan and manage internal and external meetings, events, and conferences, including agenda preparation, minute taking, and follow-ups
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders

About you

You are a professional and experienced Executive Assistant who can confidently support a CEO and senior leaders. You’re highly organised, adaptable and thrive in a collaborative environment. You bring a proactive mindset and a strong ability to manage sensitive information with discretion.

What you’ll need:

  • Demonstrated experience in a senior Executive Assistant or similar role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced MS Office skills, including strong document formatting and report preparation
  • A keen eye for process improvement and efficiency
  • Experience working in a government or large, complex organisation is highly regarded
