JOB OVERVIEW:
We are seeking an experienced Environment Coordinator to join a major technology program in Melbourne, supporting the management and coordination of non-production Development and Test environments across multiple projects.
The role will focus on ensuring environments are available, stable, correctly configured and ready for development, integration and regression testing. You will work closely with project teams, testing teams, infrastructure and architecture stakeholders, release teams and support teams to coordinate environment requirements and resolve environment-related issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate non-production Development and Test environment s across assigned projects.
- Coordinate environment requirements and manage environment bookings using Plutora.
- Ensure environments are available, configured and ready for integration and regression testing.
- Coordinate code deployments, database refreshes and environment preparation for monthly enterprise releases.
- Work closely with project, development, testing, infrastructure, architecture and release teams to manage environment dependencies.
- Provide technical guidance on environment configuration, testing, implementation and troubleshooting.
- Coordinate database refresh activities and document data flows across integrated non-production environments.
- Support the transformation of manual and high-risk environment processes into a more streamlined, automated and cloud-based ecosystem.
- Manage environment-related defects and incidents through to resolution, escalating where required.
- Troubleshoot server and application environment issues and coordinate with relevant support teams to identify owners and drive resolution.
- Support applications including Acurity, Objective, Kofax and Sitecore across environment incidents, problems and outages.
- Coordinate with Infrastructure and Integration Solution Architects on network and integration connectivity requirements.
- Coordinate with Release teams on project requirements for out-of-cycle and enterprise releases.
- Support project Hypercare following Go-Live, including retrofitting production code to lower environments where required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of environment management processes and practices.
What We're Looking For:
- Strong hands-on experience managing non-production environments, particularly Development, Test and/or UAT environments.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating environment availability, configuration, deployments, data refreshes and connectivity across multiple teams.
- Practical Plutora experience is highly desirable and is a key requirement for this role.
- Experience working with release, testing, development and project teams in a complex technology environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and environment incident/defect management skills.
- Experience with tools such as ServiceNow and JIRA is advantageous.
- Financial services experience is preferred; superannuation industry experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
- Strong stakeholder coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a shared-responsibility environment and manage multiple competing environment requirements.
Contract Details:
- Location: Melbourne
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid – generally 3 days in the office
- Start Date: 16 November 2026
- Initial Contract: Until 4 January 2027
- Extension : Potential to continue beyond the initial end date, with the current expectation potentially extending into the second week of January, subject to project requirements.
