ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Procurement Lead, the Engineering Procurement Manager will play a critical role in planning and delivering procurement for engineering and design service packages across this major transmission project. You will lead end-to-end tender processes, manage key consultant and supplier relationships, and ensure procurement outcomes deliver value, probity, and strong local and social outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

· Leading EOIs, RFPs and contract negotiations for engineering and design services

· Partnering closely with D&C and project delivery teams to ensure package alignment

· Managing risk allocation, probity requirements, and supplier performance

· Embedding sustainability, local content, and community engagement into procurement strategies


ABOUT YOU

You will bring strong procurement experience within energy, infrastructure, or major projects, supported by a solid engineering background. You are commercially astute, collaborative, and confident managing complex stakeholder environments.

You will ideally have:

· 10+ years’ experience in procurement, ideally within transmission or energy projects

· A degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering (postgraduate qualifications desirable)

· Strong tendering, negotiation, and contract management capability

· Experience with large consultancy and engineering services packages
