About the Role
Seeking a Hands-On Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing team of software engineers in delivering scalable, secure, and customer-centric solutions.
While coding isn’t your daily task, your technical depth in Java and React allows you to guide, unblock, and inspire your team when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and grow a team of talented engineers, fostering a culture of excellence, ownership, and continuous improvement.
- Drive end-to-end delivery of complex software projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship, with the ability to jump into code (Java/React) when necessary.
- Champion best practices in cloud-native development using AWS.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and architecture teams to align on goals and execution.
- Ensure engineering quality through code reviews, testing strategies, and performance monitoring.
About You
- Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or Tech Lead in a large-scale enterprise environment.
- Strong hands-on background in Java and React – able to code when required.
- Solid understanding of AWS services and cloud architecture.
- Background in financial services (advantageous)
- Demonstrated success in delivery management and agile methodologies.
- Exceptional people leadership skills – able to build, retain, and motivate high-performing teams.
- Ability to pass a Codility technical assessment prior to interview.
