About the Role

We are seeking Expressions of Interest for an experienced Engineering and Design Manager. Reporting to the Design and Construct Lead, the Engineering and Design Manager will be responsible for leading a team managing the design disciplines of a large infrastructure project. You will ensure compliance with the scope and technical requirements within time, quality and budget.

About You   

To be successful in this role you will have extensive experience leading internal multi-disciplinary technical teams and external consultants in engineering and design management of large energy and/or linear infrastructure projects. You will also possess strong contractual, legal, commercial and legislative compliance experience and knowledge, and proven reporting and analysis experience.

Your excellent interpersonal skills allow you to build effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, resulting in exceptional performance.

Key Responsibilities:

· Leadership of a multi-disciplinary technical team

· Managing risks and opportunities through the design and development phase

· Ensure all design activities are carried out in accordance with national, state and company safety and environmental polices and procedures

· Develop and maintain strategic alliances with key consultants to maximise design outcomes

· Comfortable working independently or collaboratively, managing multiple priorities, and tackling new tasks.
