About the Company

Davidson is working with a federal government client who is seeking an experienced Organisational Change Manager.


About the Role/s

The Organisational Change Manager will be responsible for assessing, designing and delivering change management activities for the Streamlining Implementations, Conformance and Connections (SLICC) project within the Connections section, to support the overall strategic objectives. The primary responsibilities will include creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximise adoption and supporting and managing key internal stakeholder relationships to effectively embed change.

· Developing, implementing and evaluating change management requirements, plans and schedules in accordance with the Change Management best practice.

· Leading the tracking and evaluation of change management activities and proposing

· recommendations for continuous improvement.

· Plan and monitor work processes, direct and coordinate quality assurance practices and set performance indicators.

· Attain and maintain an extensive understanding of the role and responsibilities of the Agency, including an understanding of the APS operating environment more broadly.

· Work within established legislative and policy frameworks.

· Ensure that change readiness assessments are completed, areas of resistance are identified, and mitigating activities are in place.

· Work with a level of independence, under broad direction, with a concurrent need to resolve issues and deliver quality outcomes.

· Communicate and make decisions with a high level of impact on the functional area and the potential to impact more broadly on agency operations and externally.

· Work with a focus on research, analysis and judgement to manage complex issues

· Engage and collaborate with key stakeholders to identify opportunities, achieve outcomes and facilitate cooperation.

· Promote the agency’s business objectives through key strategic relationships with range of stakeholders.

· Influence and advise project sponsors on how to effectively manage and implement change.

· Establish and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships.

· Manage stakeholders through change, resolving conflict and managing sensitivities.


About you

· Relevant tertiary qualifications are desirable

· Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing and evaluating organisational change management requirements

· Demonstrated experience in applying a structured methodology and leading organisational change

· management activities

· Excellent organisational skills

· Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining key stakeholder relationships


The Benefits

· $70- $80 per hour + Super (PAYG Agency Contractor)

· Contract up to June 2026

· Brisbane, CBD

· Full-time hours, Monday to Friday

· Flexible Working – Hyrbid
