  • Translate complex policy and user needs into practical, easy-to-use content
  • Manage online resource libraries and digital knowledge products
  • Establish content governance, quality assurance and review cycles
  • Apply user-centred, accessible, trauma-informed and co-design principles
  • Manage external vendors and creative service providers
  • Use feedback, evaluation and user insights to improve resources and identify emerging needs
  • Lead multiple content and capability projects through competing priorities and deadlines

The experience that matters

We’re looking for someone with demonstrated experience across content development, capability, knowledge management, learning design or digital resource development.

You will also bring;

  • Developing and managing knowledge resources, learning materials, toolkits or capability initiatives
  • Strong content governance and lifecycle management capability
  • The ability to turn complex information into clear, purposeful content for different audiences
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and project management skills
  • Experience with user-centred design, accessibility and/or co-design
  • Confidence working independently and exercising sound judgement at a senior level

Experience across domestic, family and sexual violence, online safety, community services, education, training or government will be highly regarded. Experience with CMS platforms, digital publishing, websites or online learning environments will also be advantageous.

Important to know

The work may involve exposure to sensitive and potentially distressing subject matter, including domestic, family and sexual violence, online harm and technology-facilitated abuse. An understanding of trauma-informed practice and the ability to engage professionally with sensitive material will be important.

The opportunity

  • $80.00–$86.00 per hour + super
  • 12-month contract, with potential extension
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Sydney-based with flexible hybrid working arrangements
  • Meaningful national program supporting frontline services
  • Opportunity to shape resources with practical, real-world application
  • Anticipated commencement in late October 2026
