About the Role
This role will support the Assistant Director, working within the Property Planning & Capital Works division. Our client is seeking an experienced change management specialist to design and deliver change management programmes to support accommodation projects and staff through office accommodation changes. This role is critical to ensuring smooth and successful transitions through regular and positive engagement with stakeholders and staff. This role will also assist in the uplifting accommodation change management skills.
You’ll act as the conduit between the division and business, working closely with a diverse range of stakeholders to ensure fit for purpose materials are developed to support change readiness. You’re focus will be to create and support the delivery of tailored change materials that enhance people’s ability to apply, respond to, embed, and adapt to changes throughout the agency.
- Lead the change and communication approach for a major accommodation project and interdependent projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and minimal disruption.
- Engage closely with stakeholders across project teams, business areas, and executives to build trust, manage expectations and promote readiness.
- Develop and implement structured change and communication plan, including stakeholder analysis, impact assessments, communications materials and engagement activities.
- Provide senior staff, change leaders and sponsors with the support to champion and communicate the anticipated changes.
- Analyse, design and deliver the change management needs of the Group, Branch and Section.
About you
- Must be an Australian Citizen to be considered for this role.
- Proven experience in change management and communications for accommodation/property projects.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication planning skills.
- Ability to manage complex projects and align change initiatives with timelines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical skills to assess change effectiveness and gather feedback.
- National Police Check – the successful candidate will be required to undergo a NPC.
- Hold minimum Baseline AGSVA Clearance.

- $75.00 - $85.00 per hour + Super (PAYG Agency Contractor)
