Reporting to the Project Document Control Senior within the Project Management Office, the Project Document Controller will be a central part of keeping the project moving. This role is all about structure, accuracy and flow - ensuring project documentation is controlled, current, accessible and compliant across a large, multi-disciplinary program.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing internal and external project documentation across the VNI West program
  • Maintaining document repositories and systems to ensure accurate version control and easy access
  • Implementing and enforcing document control procedures across creation, review and approval processes
  • Tracking document revisions and changes to ensure compliance with project and regulatory requirements
  • Working closely with project managers, engineers and stakeholders to align documentation with project milestones
  • Performing quality checks to ensure consistency, accuracy and completeness of documentation
  • Supporting audits and compliance activities related to document control
  • Producing regular and ad-hoc reporting on document status and project performance
  • Contributing to internal and external meetings, providing updates and program views as required

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven experience in a Document Control role on large, complex infrastructure or engineering projects
  • Strong working knowledge of project and engineering documentation and terminology
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Highly organised with strong time management skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging across project teams
  • A proactive, detail-focused approach with strong problem-solving capability
  • Experience in transmission, construction or engineering environments will be highly regarded
