About the Role

We are seeking a Document Controller to join a high-performing Program Management Office on a 12-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you will support the effective management of project and contract documentation across complex capital works programs. You'll play a critical part in maintaining structured, compliant and accessible records and ensuring key project teams have the information they need, when they need it.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the organisation and electronic storage of project and contract documents

  • Implementing and maintaining document control systems, version control, and access permissions

  • Coordinating document reviews, approvals, and timely distribution across internal teams and external contractors

  • Supporting users of the Document Management System through training and guidance

  • Ensuring compliance with relevant standards, procedures, and best practices

  • Contributing to the efficiency and consistency of documentation across multiple projects

About You

You will bring:

  • 2+ years of experience in document control, records management or similar roles

  • Strong working knowledge of document management systems (e.g. TeamBinder, InEight, Aconex)

  • Exceptional attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to manage competing priorities

  • Solid communication and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to work both independently and in a team

Desirable:

  • Qualifications in Information Management, Business Administration or a related field

  • Exposure to ISO9001 quality systems and procedures

  • Certifications in records or information management (e.g. CIP, CRM)
