Reporting to the Executive Director Corporate Services and working closely with the CEO, Board and Executive, the Director, Finance and Business Services leads finance and budget management, procurement, and facilities, fleet and equipment. This role will drive strategy, performance and risk management across critical corporate services, while ensuring compliance with financial legislation and building trusted relationships with key stakeholders. The role supports major reforms across budgeting, procurement and contract management, as well as the implementation of organisational financial strategies and operational support for depot facilities, equipment and infrastructure essential for Parks Victoria’s staff to undertake their work across the state.

To be successful in this role you will be a seasoned strategic executive with experience leading high-performing teams in complex, values-based environments. You have a proven track record leading, empowering multi- disciplinary teams during times of change and transformation, with strong commercial acumen. You will bring strong expertise in public sector corporate services and are known for sound judgement, integrity and a solutions-oriented mindset. You will be a strategic thinker and effective communicator, with a proven ability to influence at executive and Board levels, and lead reform agendas that drive both compliance and innovation. With strong stakeholder engagement skills and a collaborative, empowering leadership style, you will play a critical role in building capability, driving value and delivering impact across the state.
