Our client is a leading organisation within the utilities sector, embarking on a significant enterprise transformation to replace its CRM and Billing platform. They're seeking an experienced Digital Project Lead to drive the planning and procurement phases of this high-profile initiative, helping lay the foundations for a successful implementation. This role is based in Bendigo, Victoria.
About the Role
As the Digital Project Lead, you'll be responsible for leading the project through implementation readiness, business case finalisation, requirements definition, and procurement. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you'll ensure the project is well-governed, commercially sound, and positioned for successful delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the planning and delivery of a major CRM and Billing transformation project
- Finalising business requirements and supporting the completion of the final business case
- Managing the end-to-end procurement process, including vendor evaluation and selection
- Coordinating project governance, steering committees and executive reporting
- Managing project risks, timelines and stakeholder engagement across business and technology teams
- Working with internal and external delivery partners to ensure project readiness
About You
You'll be an experienced Digital Project Lead or Senior Project Manager with a strong background delivering large-scale enterprise technology projects.
You'll ideally have:
- Proven experience leading complex IT or digital transformation projects
- Experience delivering CRM, ERP, Billing or other enterprise application replacement initiatives
- Strong procurement experience, including RFT/RFP development, vendor evaluation and contract negotiations
- Experience developing business cases and presenting to executive stakeholders or steering committees
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience within government, utilities or other highly regulated environments will be highly regarded
