About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Digital Content Writer & Publisher to support a major digital service transformation program. This role will be responsible for creating, managing, and publishing high-quality digital content that supports business objectives, stakeholder engagement, and customer experience outcomes.

Working closely with program teams, content specialists, and business stakeholders, you will ensure content is accurate, accessible, user-focused, and aligned with governance and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, edit, and publish website content using Drupal CMS.
  • Manage content across large and complex websites.
  • Develop and maintain interactive online and PDF forms.
  • Coordinate the production and publication of multimedia content, including videos and animations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to produce clear, accurate, and accessible content.
  • Apply plain language and accessibility principles to all digital communications.
  • Ensure content complies with internal approval processes and relevant standards.
  • Support digital transformation, change, and communication initiatives.
  • Monitor digital content performance and recommend improvements.
  • Contribute to user testing and content optimisation activities.

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years' experience in digital content writing, editing, and publishing.
  • Strong experience using Drupal CMS (District CMS experience highly regarded).
  • Experience managing large and complex websites.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of accessibility standards and plain language writing.
  • Experience within government or highly regulated environments is desirable.
  • Experience supporting digital transformation or service improvement programs is advantageous.
