Davidson is partnering with a leading organisation in the superannuation sector who is a Digital Business Analyst for a 12-month fixed term contract. This role sits within a major transformation program and will support digital delivery across customer-facing initiatives, with a particular focus on front-end change.
This is a strong opportunity for a BA who enjoys working closely with product, engineering and SME teams in an agile environment, and who can bring structure, clarity and momentum to digital delivery streams.
About the Role
The Digital Business Analyst will play a key role in supporting digital workstreams across a broader transformation program. Operating within agile squads, this role will focus on translating business needs into clear, actionable artefacts that enable delivery teams to move efficiently and confidently.
The successful candidate will be responsible for writing epics and user stories, refining requirements, and working closely with product, engineering and subject matter experts to support front-end digital initiatives. This role will suit someone who is comfortable bridging business and technical teams and who understands how strong analysis supports better digital outcomes.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Writing and maintaining epics, user stories and acceptance criteria
- Supporting digital delivery streams across a large transformation program
- Partnering with product, engineering and SME teams to refine and clarify requirements
- Working closely with agile squads to support prioritisation and delivery readiness
- Translating business needs into clear, user-focused requirements for front-end initiatives
- Supporting backlog refinement, sprint planning and ongoing delivery activities
- Contributing to the improvement of digital customer experiences through well-defined requirements
- Liaising across business and technical stakeholders to ensure alignment across delivery
About You
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will be an experienced Digital Business Analyst with strong agile delivery capability and experience working on front-end digital initiatives. Exposure to superannuation, broader business domain knowledge, and an understanding of UX principles will be highly regarded.
The ideal background will include:
- Proven experience as a Digital Business Analyst in agile delivery environments
- Strong experience writing epics, user stories and acceptance criteria
- Experience supporting digital or front-end delivery streams
- Ability to work effectively with product, engineering and SME teams
- Strong stakeholder engagement and requirements refinement capability
- Exposure to superannuation or financial services environments will be preferred
- Understanding of UX and customer-centred digital delivery will be advantageous
- Technical experience, including exposure to integration-focused environments, will be highly regarded
