The Opportunity
Our client is seeking a Desktop Engineer, to deliver high-quality onsite and remote support across a broad range of end-user devices. You'll play a vital role in maintaining operational efficiency by resolving incidents and service requests swiftly and effectively. Working within a modern tech environment, you’ll help ensure seamless device and application functionality, contributing to a strong customer experience and high user satisfaction.
The Role
You’ll be the go-to person for resolving technical issues across devices, software, and user queries.
- Provide responsive desktop support for end-user devices both onsite and remotely
- Staff the walk-up technical hub and deliver an approachable support experience
- Troubleshoot Windows-based devices (Windows 10 & 11) including desktops, laptops, and tablets
- Resolve issues with common enterprise tools such as Microsoft 365 and Adobe applications
- Diagnose and fix problems with peripherals like printers, barcode scanners, and POS terminals
- Operate confidently in Azure Active Directory and enterprise IT environments
About You
You're a solution-focused technician with the capability and confidence to work across a variety of tools and systems.
- Demonstrated' experience supporting end-user devices in a corporate IT environment
- Strong troubleshooting abilities across hardware, OS, and business applications
- Experience with Azure AD and Windows 10/11 essential
- Confident working under pressure and managing competing demands professionally
- Excellent communication and customer service mindset
- ITIL v3, MCITP/MCTS, or similar certifications will be highly regarded
