Davidson is partnering with an innovative organisation delivering a high-visibility digital initiative aimed at enhancing public access to services through a new web platform.
While the end product appears simple to users, the behind-the-scenes delivery is complex, time-sensitive and strategically significant.
About the Project
This project involves the delivery of a customer-facing website that will need to scale under peak usage, integrate with existing platforms, and deliver a seamless user experience. The vendor is in place, the foundational work has been done, and now the team is seeking the right person to lead final delivery and ensure execution excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of a consumer-facing web platform in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Manage and hold a third-party vendor accountable to timelines and deliverables
- Provide pragmatic, fit-for-purpose project structure without overcomplicating the approach
- Navigate internal priorities and work cross-functionally across digital, product and operational teams
About You
You're a delivery-first leader who brings structure and direction without unnecessary red tape. You’re comfortable with pace, ambiguity and managing vendor performance under pressure. You know how to balance best-practice delivery with what’s practical and achievable in the real world.
You’ll bring:
- Proven experience leading digital product or website delivery projects
- A background in consulting or strategy-led environments (ideal but not essential)
- Strong stakeholder engagement and vendor management skills
- Commercial acumen and the ability to drive business outcomes through delivery
- A pragmatic, adaptable delivery style that suits lean environments
Bonus if you have:
- A BA skillset or experience supporting business analysis in lean teams
- Experience delivering consumer-facing platforms with high performance expectations
