The Opportunity

Join a major Queensland Government data transformation program delivering a modern enterprise data platform that will shape how education insights are used across the state. This initial contract offers the opportunity to design enterprise data models, establish trusted data assets, and contribute to a large-scale cloud-based analytics environment that supports better decision-making and improved outcomes. Flexible hybrid working arrangements are available with hybrid working in Brisbane CBD.


About the Role
You'll play a key role in defining and modelling enterprise data assets that support reporting, analytics, and business intelligence across a complex environment.

  • Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models
  • Translate business requirements into enterprise data products
  • Analyse existing data schemas and define trusted data assets
  • Develop and maintain metadata, data dictionaries, lineage, and business rules
  • Reverse engineer existing physical models into future-state architectures
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to establish data modelling standards


About You

We're looking for an experienced Data Modeller with strong enterprise data management experience and the ability to work across large-scale analytics programs.

  • Proven experience as a Data Modeller within enterprise Data & Analytics environments
  • Strong knowledge of conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling
  • Experience with enterprise data governance and metadata management
  • Hands-on experience using data modelling tools such as ER/Studio Data Architect
  • Experience working with cloud-based data platforms and DevOps pipelines
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and analytical skills
  • Must have full-Australian Working rights and be able to meet hybrid requirements in Brisbane CBD.
