Our client is a leading organisation in the construction and infrastructure sector, delivering large-scale projects across Australia. As part of a major HR and payroll transformation program, they are seeking an experienced Data Migration Lead to play a key role in the successful delivery of a new SAP SuccessFactors and Employee Central Payroll (ECP) solution.
About the Role
As the Data Migration Lead, you will take ownership of the end-to-end data migration workstream, ensuring the successful migration of HR, payroll and workforce management data from Chris21 to SAP Employee Central Payroll (ECP).
Working closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, technical teams and implementation partners, you will lead migration planning, data mapping, cleansing, validation and multiple migration cycles through to production cutover.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the end-to-end data migration workstream for a large-scale HR and payroll transformation.
- Develop and execute the migration strategy, plans and schedules.
- Manage the migration of data from Chris21 to SAP Employee Central Payroll (ECP).
- Define data mapping, transformation rules and migration requirements.
- Oversee data extraction, cleansing, validation and reconciliation activities.
- Coordinate mock conversions, testing cycles and production cutover.
- Support SIT, UAT, parallel payroll testing and hypercare.
- Work closely with HR, Payroll, Technology and implementation partners to ensure successful delivery.
- Identify and manage migration risks, issues and dependencies.
- Provide regular reporting and updates to project leadership.
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll bring proven experience leading data migration activities within large HR and payroll transformation programs.
You will have:
- Demonstrated experience leading complex HR and payroll data migration projects.
- Hands-on experience migrating from Chris21 to SAP Employee Central Payroll (ECP).
- Experience working with Workforce Software (WFS) or similar Workforce Management solutions.
- Strong understanding of payroll, HR master data and organisational structures.
- Experience with data mapping, ETL, reconciliation and data quality activities.
- Proven experience delivering multiple migration cycles, cutovers and production deployments.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- The ability to work across business and technical teams in a fast-paced project environment.
