Davidson Technology are working with an agency of the Queensland State Government to secure an experience Data Migration Lead to support their ICT Director in delivering the business outcomes facilitated by digital technologies, and in line with the Digital Roadmap and technology investment plan.


About the Role

As the Data Migration Lead, you will play a critical role in supporting a key initiative managing health assessments for Queensland workers. Reporting to the Manager of Digital Medical Systems, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of health data throughout the project's lifecycle. Key responsibilities include leading data cleansing activities, identifying and resolving data quality issues, and developing effective data migration strategies in alignment with the Digital Roadmap and technology investment plan. You’ll have close collaboration with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable technical specifications, while also coordinating cross-functional teams to execute and validate data migration. Additionally, you will be accountable for maintaining detailed documentation and generating reports to track data quality and project progress.


About You

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring over 5 years’ experience in data migration and cleansing, a strong track record of executing successful migrations to Microsoft Dynamics CRM — a critical requirement for the role. You will possess strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with technical and business stakeholders. Your technical toolkit will ideally include experience with Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio, Data Factory, KingswaySoft, and SharePoint, enabling efficient data transformation and validation. A bachelor’s degree in Data, Information Systems, or a related discipline is highly desirable.


The Benefits

You will be offered a 6-month contract (possible extension) on an excellent daily rate and the ability to negotiate a flexible working arrangement for the duration of the assignment.
