About the role
Located close to Brisbane CBD, this role offers a hybrid working model with 3 days onsite per week required.
Davidson Technology Consulting is seeking an experienced Data Migration Analyst to join our team on a transformation program within Financial Services. This role will suit a hands-on professional with strong experience across data migration, profiling, reconciliation and stakeholder coordination, ideally within retail banking or a similarly regulated environment.
Key responsibilities
· Support data migration activities including data mapping, profiling and reconciliation
· Assist with mock runs, cutover preparation, data validation and defect resolution
· Coordinate with business, technology and vendor teams to manage issues, dependencies and reporting
· Contribute to migration, integration or divestment program delivery
· Support data retention and decommissioning activities, including data warehouse retention, read-only applications and tape storage
· Help ensure data activities align with legal and regulatory considerations where required
About you
· 5+ years of experience in data migration, data analysis or data operations
· Experience in Financial Services, ideally within retail banking
· Prior experience working on migration, integration or divestment programs
· Strong capability in data mapping, profiling and reconciliation
· Hands-on experience supporting mock runs, cutover activities, validation and defect resolution
· Strong stakeholder management skills across business, technology and vendor groups
· Exposure to data retention and decommissioning practices will be highly regarded
· Understanding legal and regulatory requirements relating to retention and decommissioning will be advantageous
· Hold full work rights for Australia an can start with maximum 2 weeks notice
