The Opportunity
This is a key technical role within a major enterprise transformation program replacing a large-scale legacy HR and payroll environment with a modern SAP SuccessFactors-based platform. You’ll take ownership of the organisation’s data architecture strategy across migration, integration, governance, and enterprise data design. This is not a passive “keep the lights on” architecture role - the expectation is that you can lead complex migration and integration activity, influence technical direction, and solve large-scale enterprise data challenges in a highly visible program environment.
About the Role
You’ll play a central role in shaping the future-state data environment and ensuring critical workforce and operational data is migrated, governed, integrated, and optimised effectively.
- Design enterprise-level data architecture frameworks and models
- Lead large-scale data migration strategy from legacy platforms
- Develop integration frameworks across enterprise systems and Azure platforms
- Define data governance, validation, quality, and security standards
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders on data design outcomes
- Produce architecture documentation, transformation logic, and integration specifications
About You
You’re a senior data professional who understands the difference between theoretical architecture and practical delivery. You’ve worked in complex enterprise environments and know how to navigate messy legacy data, integration dependencies, and governance challenges.
- Extensive experience in data architecture, migration, or enterprise data management
- Strong expertise across ETL, data migration tooling, and database platforms
- Experience with Azure data services and enterprise integration environments
- Solid understanding of data governance, security, and data quality practices
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication capability
- Experience with SAP ecosystems or enterprise ERP transformations highly regarded
- Must be willing to proceed as PAYG & have full Australian working rights
