The Opportunity

The client is embarking on a major digital transformation to deliver a future-ready, national operational care platform. As Data Architect, you will play a key role in shaping the data foundations of this multi-year program, leveraging the Microsoft ecosystem to enable analytics, reporting, and AI-driven insights.

This position is available Australia wide. Unfortunately sponsorship is not available for this opportunity. Full Australian working rights are required.


The Role

As a Data Architect you will be responsible for designing, governing, and optimising enterprise data architecture to support the client’s Digital Program.

Your other responsibilities will include:

  • Defining and maintaining enterprise data architecture aligned with TOGAF principles and best practices.
  • Designing data models, integration patterns, and reference architectures across Dynamics 365 CE, F&O, Azure services, and Microsoft Fabric.
  • Establishing data governance frameworks, security standards, and compliance measures.
  • Collaborating with program teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to deliver scalable and secure data solutions.
  • Leading assurance of data migration, storage, and retention strategies in line with business and regulatory requirements.
  • Providing technical leadership and architectural guidance to development teams and delivery partners.



About You

In order to be a successful applicant you will have proven experience as a Data Architect or Enterprise Architect within large-scale enterprise or government programs.

You will also have:

  • Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
  • Deep expertise in Azure data services (Microsoft Fabric, Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake, SQL/Cosmos DB).
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 CE and F&O, including Dataverse integrations.
  • Proficiency in Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps) for no-code/low-code enablement.
  • Demonstrated capability in data security, governance, and compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.
