About the Role:
We’re partnering with a leading bank as they undertake a large-scale integration of a new enterprise-wide platform. As part of this exciting transformation, we’re seeking a highly capable Data Analyst
with strong banking experience to join the team on an initial 6-month day-rate contract.
You’ll play a key role in supporting data-related activities for the integration program—analysing production data, identifying automation opportunities, and delivering insights to help shape project scope and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analysing large sets of existing production data to support the enterprise platform integration
- Identifying opportunities for automated data extraction and optimisation
- Translating data findings into meaningful business insights to support scope definition and delivery planning
- Working closely with business, technology, and transformation stakeholders across the program
- Ensuring data analysis adheres to governance, compliance, and banking standards
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst in a banking or financial services environment(essential)
- Strong skills in data analysis, SQL, ETL and reporting tools(e.g., Excel, Power BI, or similar)
- Experience identifying or implementing data automation or extraction solutions
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to present insights clearly to stakeholders
- Familiarity with transformation or integration projects is highly desirable
Work Environment & Flexibility:
- Hybrid model - 50/50 from home and office
- Offices located in Melbourne CBD
