Davidson is proud to be partnering with a manufacturing organisation in Brisbane to source a skilled Data Analyst for an exciting transformation project. This opportunity offers the chance to contribute to a high-impact initiative involving SAP implementation and legacy data migration.
About the Role
As a Data Analyst, you will work closely with business stakeholders to understand current data usage, assist with data mapping, and support change management and training activities. You will play a key role in preparing legacy data for integration into a new SAP solution.
Key responsibilities include:
- Engaging with stakeholders to document "as is" processes and data usage
- Writing and optimising SQL queries and procedures
- Creating and modifying custom reports
- Mapping and enriching data, and preparing data load files
- Supporting legacy data preparation and validation for SAP migration
- Ensuring data quality and alignment with the target SAP design
- Performing complex data analysis and delivering meaningful insights
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Proven experience in SQL and data analysis
- Prior experience in data-related roles within business project environments
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Understanding of data warehousing and ETL processes
- Experience with SAP systems and data migration projects
