CyberArk / PAM Engineering Lead (Senior Engineer)

The Opportunity
We are working with a well-known enterprise organisation to appoint a CyberArk / PAM Engineering Lead to design, build, and operationalise a new Privileged Access Management (PAM) capability.
This is a key role within a broader security uplift, where you will take ownership of the PAM function end-to-end — from architecture and design through to hands-on implementation and ongoing optimisation. You will act as the technical authority for CyberArk, working closely with security, infrastructure, and business stakeholders to deliver a scalable and secure solution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of a CyberArk PAM solution across an enterprise environment
- Build and operationalise core CyberArk components including Vault, PSM, CPM, and session management
- Define architecture, standards, and best practices for privileged access
- Work closely with internal teams to integrate PAM across systems and applications
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to stakeholders and delivery teams
- Contribute to the uplift of security posture through strong PAM controls and governance
- Produce high-quality documentation including design artefacts, runbooks, and operational procedures
Key Requirements - Extensive hands-on experience with CyberArk in large-scale enterprise environments (minimum 2 deployments)
- Deep knowledge of CyberArk modules (Vault, PSM, CPM, session management, etc.)
- Proven ability to design, architect, and implement PAM solutions end-to-end
- Strong engineering capability — comfortable being hands-on in build and configuration
- Experience establishing or maturing a PAM capability within an organisation
- Strong understanding of security principles and privileged access best practices
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts and trade-offs
Highly Regarded - Experience working in complex, regulated environments
- Exposure to broader IAM or Zero Trust frameworks
- Experience integrating PAM with cloud and hybrid environments
